Clan Goliath Scorpion and the Scorpion Empire
Clan Goliath Scorpion began as a society of warriors, engineers, mystics, and Seekers obsessed with recovering the physical legacy of the Star League. Its expeditions searched remote worlds for artifacts, military caches, records, and technology while the Clan’s ritual use of necrosia connected historical discovery with spiritual vision. This episode follows the Scorpions through Abjuration from the Clan Homeworlds and their transformation from wandering exiles into rulers of a multicultural Deep Periphery empire. After conquering Nueva Castile and the Umayyad Caliphate, they created the Escorpión Imperio and modified the traditional caste system to govern populations that had never lived under Clan institutions. The later Hanseatic Crusade added an even larger group of worlds, industries, and citizens, producing the Scorpion Empire. Reform expanded opportunities for freeborns and civilians while traditionalists resisted the changes. Goliath Scorpion survived exile by redefining Clan identity broadly enough to absorb entire societies without completely abandoning its origins.
