Wardens and Crusaders: The Argument Over the Inner Sphere
The Warden-Crusader divide was the great ideological argument over what the descendants of Kerensky owed the Inner Sphere. Crusaders argued that centuries of Succession Wars proved the Great Houses were incapable of restoring the Star League and that Clan conquest was therefore a form of rescue.
